FAQs

Here's are some of the questions our clients frequently ask us. If you need additional help or have another question, please do contact us.

What kind of exercises are there?

In the gym there are no fixed machines. Our goal is to make your everyday life better. For example, going up the stairs, playing with your kids/ grandkids, picking things up off the floor. We do the basics of training well and progress when we can. We create strong people, we create 'everyday athletes'.

I have an injury, can I still join?

100%! In the initial consultation, we take you through a movement assessment. Here is where we will put a plan in place and decide to best way to move forward in the gym, whether that be rehab exercises/ prehab exercises or just managing your sessions in the gym.

How many sessions are there a week?

Over 50, from 6am to 8pm. See our training timetable here.

How do I book sessions?

We use an app called MindBody (android and iOS) This is free for our members to use and shows all the session times available. If a session is fully booked, you can join a waiting list in case another member cancels. We help every client download and sign-up to the app during your first session and we can answer any questions you may have.

Can I cancel a session if my plans change?

Yes, you can cancel via the MindBody app at any time, you can then rebook via the app too.

How do I join the gym?

All our clients start on our 30-day experience. Visit the get started page to learn more.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. We do not do contracts because we know the importance of flexibility in peoples lives. Things happen, life happens, so when you join Steele Fitness Group you have the peace of mind knowing you are not tied in.

How are you managing Covid-19?

The safety of our team and customers is our priority. We are open and adhering to Covid-19 guidance by:

  • Members showing symptoms or with a positive test are asked not to attend the gym until government guidelines allow.
  • Maintaining social distancing
  • Hand-sanitizer stations throughout the gym
  • Bottles of sanitizer spray and blue roll around the gym if you want to clean any equipment.
  • We ask all members to clean each piece of equipment after they use it, and we built in time into the session for this.
  • If you want anything cleaning, just ask, we’ll be happy to do this.
